The Point Cook Cultural Community are excited to announce that the LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL will be returning in 2019!

In the heart of Point Cook, the festival will showcase the multicultural diversity in and around our community through music, performances, food, music and activities. With a 43% growth rate seeing 20,000 people in attendance earlier this year, we anticipate an even greater turn out and experience next year.

This will be our third year running and is already set to be our best yet with a stage and production THREE times the size, TWO lion dances, our FIRST ever dragon dance and the spectacular fireworks finale.

What to expect:

• All-day live performances
• Fireworks display
• Lion dances
• Dragon dance
• Street food stalls
• Chinese art and calligraphy
• Traditional performances
• Rides and jumping castles
• Face painting
• Various cuisines from local restaurants
and more to be announced!

This is all possible thanks to our incredible returning sponsors (Stockland Point Cook, Century21 Point Cook, uClick, Avalon Airport Wyndham City Council), the grants we have received so far and YOU… our diverse community.

We look forward to celebrating the YEAR OF THE PIG with you on Saturday 16th February 2019.
